The early months of the year are the perfect time to start a new fitness routine or take your existing workouts up a level.

The Uttoxeter Leisure Centre has all the facilities and membership options you need to enhance your physical and mental wellbeing.

Alongside the state-of-the-art gym packed with all the latest kit, there’s a 25m swimming pool, group fitness classes, group cycling studio and sports hall, which hosts a range of activities.

In addition, leading leisure operator Everyone Active, which runs Uttoxeter Leisure Centre in partnership with East Staffordshire Borough Council, has launched a new Wellness Membership.

The Wellness Membership gives you all the tools to help with your mind, body and wellbeing.

You will get access to the state-of-the-art gym, swimming pool and group exercise classes at Uttoxeter Leisure Centre, as well as Everyone Active sites across the country, at the same membership price or less.

There are free personal training sessions and free guest passes so you can bring your family and friends along, while Everyone On Demand – available via the Everyone Active app – offers thousands of free home workouts.

You will secure exclusive discounts on clothing and equipment as well as 14-day booking, allowing you to secure your group exercise slot two weeks in advance.

Everyone Wellness members also benefit from Health Hero, which offers either a telephone or video appointment with a GP within 24 hours of initial contact.

More generally, Uttoxeter Leisure Centre offers a variety of sessions for people of all ages and abilities from the local community, regardless of whether they have a membership or not.

Among those are family swimming sessions such as mats and balls (Fridays, 7pm) and pool inflatable sessions (Saturdays, 3.45pm).

There are also disability-friendly sessions such as disabled swimming (Mondays, 1pm), quiet adult swim (Tuesdays, 9pm) and able to sessions (Friday, 10am).

Wellbeing walks are due to launch on Monday, February 5 at 10am and will take place every Monday thereafter.

In addition, the centre is offering a winter warm space until Thursday, February 29 for those who want to stay warm during the winter months.

This takes place every weekday from 8am-11am, with complimentary tea and coffee available, as well as a reading corner.
